One of the key highways in north-central Wisconsin is smoother and safer thanks to WTBA member work.
Prime contractor James Peterson Sons, Inc. and its subs reconstructed about 8 miles of Highway 29 near Edgar in Marathon County. Their work focused on the eastbound lanes, while also replacing the asphalt shoulders and improving the on- and off-ramps at Highway 97.
Work began in May and provided a nearby example of the importance of work zone safety during the North-Central Region event back in August.
WisDOT reported the highway fully reopened on Thursday.
Great work on another job well done!
